Imagine this scenario.
You’re choosing between two leaders.
EQ = Emotional Intelligence
1. Leader with high EQ.
2. Leader with low EQ.
Both have the same IQ. Perhaps #2 has an even higher IQ.
Which one do you go with?
10/10 times..I’d go with #1.
Why? Because they make businesses better through:
– Inspired leadership
– Decreased work stress
– Lower employee turnover
– Increased team performance
– Improved decision making
– Increased employee well-being
For a leader with low EQ, this list could read the exact opposite.
It’s not that IQ doesn’t matter. It’s the baseline.
But EQ is the special ingredient that makes good leaders “great.”
